The Cub of Budapest WorldShift Network
As an initiative of the Club of Budapest The WorldShift Network was founded to establish a worldwide network intended to trace, connect, encourage and inspire associations and individuals, who are honestly committed to work for a real shift in our presently disasterous world towards global awareness, sustainabiltity, peace and upliftment and to initiate initiatives of effective political impact within civil society. We feel the last minute has come to change the ruling trend of exploitation and destructivness into a direction of spiritual awareness and responsibility, for which the most noble emotional, intellectual and spiritual gifts were bestowed upon us from above.
In the course of younger history, science, technology, economy, and communication have peaked in quite one-sided direction, promising to solve all material problems, yet being forgetful about the spiritual essence of human nature and life. Taking this into consideration the WorldShift Network is putting its main emphasis on values which have been neglected for a long time: self-awareness, compassion and wisdom. Thus the WorldShift Network is determined to create worldwide conditions which will finally give birth to a new global culture of preservation, peace and upliftment, including all of humanity and nature and deeply imbued with a spirit of global awareness, love and unconditionsl respect towards life.
