Daniel Kropf, Gamida for Life, Medical Care, Chairman of the Board of Directors
Mr. Kropf, a leading businessman in healthcare, has always pursued a deeper understanding of human functioning and interactions through diverse approaches encompassing tools and methodologies from the western and eastern cultures. Such interest has permeated his business, social, educational and philanthropic endeavors.
On the business level, Mr. Kropf established, chaired or directed several healthcare businesses which are engaged internationally in research, development, production, marketing, and the sales of products and services for the healthcare and scientific community. This includes Healthcare Technologies Ltd, Gamida for Life, Ultramind P.L.C (Bio feedback and cognitive therapy tools), Gamida Gen for genetic diagnostics, Gamida Cell for cell therapy, and Glyco Data for glyco protein mapping, finger printing and sequencing.
His social, educational and philanthropic activities are equally diverse. Mr. Kropf is founder of Education for Life, a Dutch Foundation dedicated to authentic and caring dialogue within and between people in the Israeli and Palestinian societies. The Foundation which utilizes techniques like Non Violent Communication® Lots® and Human Dynamics® worked in conflict areas such as East Europe and the Middle East . It has opened representative offices serving the Palestinian and Israeli community. Mr. Kropf is also the chairman of the Universal Education Foundation, a nonprofit organization registered in The Netherlands with offices in Ramallah and Brussels.
Mr. Kropf is also interested in promoting cultural and educational diversity as well. He is member of the Board of the Evens Foundation, who pursues its mission of cultural diversity and tolerance through intercultural activities in the arts, literature, and science and promotes tools of all disciplines that improve dialogue between people, he also serves on the Board of Hommes de Parole an organization whom through its publications and symposia endeavors to provide space for expression, dialogue and recognition. Mr. Kropf is the secretary general of CEJI, an organization committed to continued organizational and social transformation, strengthening diversity in education, developing advocacy and organizing dialogues amongst cultures and religions throughout Europe.
